VideoStitch unveils stunning Live 3D Video Stitching Technology
Monday, January 5, 2015
Paris, FRANCE, January 5, 2015 – VideoStitch, the leading European start-up offering Virtual Reality video production solutions, unveils today their solution to create Live 3D 360-degree videos.
The technology will be showcased at the VR Cinema meetup in San Francisco on January 10th (link: http://meetu.ps/2Cmh0g ), where M.Nicolas Burtey, founder and CEO, will be running a presentation.
VideoStitch’s software takes multiple cameras and creates a single high-resolution panoramic video in real-time, covering up to 360 degrees, with no blind spot:
- Vahana VR is the world’s first versatile 360 3D degrees video production solution. Producers and broadcasters are now able to stream live action content directly into virtual reality headsets (Oculus VR, Samsung Gear VR, Google Cardboard) or deliver second-screen experiences. Existing customers will enjoy this new feature in the coming weeks.
- The technology will also be added to VideoStitch Studio to post-produce 360° 3D videos with real-time preview of the stitched output.
“We are not a hardware company, we don’t provide 360-degrees cameras, and that is our strength,” explains Nicolas Burtey, VideoStitch CEO. “We can focus on what we are the best at: the software! And our technology can be used by companies that want to create their own 360-degree cameras, as we offer a better quality and resolution than what already exists on this market”, adds Burtey.
Created in 2012 by Nicolas Burtey, VideoStitch is an independent and self-funded company, headquartered in Paris. VideoStitch‘s mission is to provide the best software and solutions to stitch and produce high-resolution 360-degree videos. VideoStitch works with customers in more than 40 countries.
M.Burtey will also be present in Las Vegas during the CES and will be ready to answer your questions and deliver private demos.
